Kartik Raj

Kartik Raj is senior Europe researcher. He works on a wide range of human rights in the region, with a particular focus on the human rights dimensions of poverty and inequality, and on human rights in the UK and Bulgaria. He is a member of the steering group of the UK Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Network.

Kartik previously worked as a researcher and campaigner in the EU team at Amnesty International, and as a caseworker at the Refugee Legal Centre, both in London. He holds an A.B. in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College , and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. He is based in Barcelona, and speaks English, Spanish, and some French and Catalan.
